Melissa Osuch, a Financial Advisor with LPL Financial and President of Strategic Advisors of Illinois, Inc. has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry and is licensed in both securities and insurance. Melissa specializes in working with individuals, families and businesses seeking to manage and protect their assets and build a confident retirement. Melissa offers a customized approach and a high level of personal service to each client. Founded in 1995, Strategic Advisors of Illinois serves the greater Chicagoland area as well as clients outside of Illinois.
Melissa works with each client as an individual, learning first about their family, values, assets, interests and future goals. She then develops a customized plan, consulting with other professionals as needed and recommends strategies designed for the life her clients want to live.
Prior to working in the financial industry, Melissa worked as the Vice President of Human Resources for a mid-sized bank in the Chicagoland area. This experience gives her a unique perspective on employee benefits and 401(k) plans. Melissa uses this knowledge to conduct seminars at outplacement firms helping individuals who are in a career transition handle their unique financial circumstances. Melissa earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration attending both Roosevelt and Purdue Universities and completed her MBA at DePaul University.
Outside the office, Melissa enjoys cooking, Pilates, travel, spending time with friends, as well as being committed to lifelong learning in various continuing education and coaching programs. Melissa enjoys volunteering at the local schools and has housed exchange students as a way to bring cultural diversity into her home. She has also recently started volunteering with two organizations, Women United of Lake County and North Chicago Community Partners, which help kids in Lake County, IL get ahead in their education through after school programs and community learning initiatives. Most importantly, Melissa enjoys spending family time, especially with her three children, Eric, Julia and Abby.
